By placing an order, it is implied that you accept the terms and conditions below.

HOW TO BUY

   Orders can be placed over the e-mail: info@muranti.com
   Once we receive your order, we will send the proforma invoice to your e-mail along with the additional information regarding payment and delivery.
   To send you the proforma invoice and move forward with your order, the following details must be sent to us:

  • COMPANY NAME
  • BILLING AND DELIVERY ADDRESS (IF DIFFERENT)
  • TELEPHONE NUMBER
  • VAT/TAX NUMBER

PRICING

   The current list of prices replaces any other published before. Prices always refer to single unit and VAT/TAX is not included in the price. Legal tax and fees must be subsequently added to the price. In upholstery items, if the client wants to use their own fabric there is a specific price for the piece in COM. We reserve the right to discontinue products or change specifications and prices on products without prior notice. The listed prices include packaging. The prices do not include transportation values and fees. Please contact MURANTI for additional information.

ACCOUNTS & ORDER TERMS

  All orders are confirmed with a 50% deposit, after MURANTI issue the proforma. Client must provide valid company details such as: billing address and VAT number. The remainder is balanced prior to shipping from our warehouse in Portugal. We reserve the right to treat every order in case by case basis, depending on out agreement with the costumer. Customized proforma or large value orders will require 50% deposit.
   Payment must be made by account transfer (in EUR€) and a confirmation of the transfer must be sent to MURANTI e-mail. After the first deposit made, any change to proforma will be impossible to perform. Please check and approve all data on the proforma before making any deposit. MURANTI is not responsible for the impossibility of any changes to this document. All pieces are property of MURANTI until full payment of the order. We reserve the right to defer dispatch date until the balance of the order is received. MURANTI reserves the right to apply a warehouse fee, for orders in storage for more than 10 working days.

COSTUMERS OWN MATERIAL (COM)

   All fabrics must be identified with a proper document. MURANTI is not responsible for delays in production or any fabric misuse if the fabric is sent without identification by the client. MURANTI is not responsible for the quality and state of the fabric till its opening which occurs once it is to be applied in the piece.
   FABRIC: The required measure is based on plain fabric with a standard width of 1.40mts | 55’’. Stripes, plaids, large patterns or narrow widths may require additional fabric.
   LEATHER: Squared footage is based on full hides yielding approximately 55 square feet. Additional leather may be required due to irregularities such as shapes or markings. Half hides or calfskin require additional square footage and seaming. Leather is a natural product and imperfections such as scars, wrinkles and bite marks are part of the beauty of the leather and should be expected.

FREIGHT POLICY AND DAMAGE CLAIMS

  Pieces are collected by the carrier of the customer’s choice unless otherwise stated on the order. MURANTI can assure the transportation if agreed with the customer. In this case, fees will be charged separately from the product(s) value (white glove service is not provided in the quotation). MURANTI reserves the right to charge an extra 20% on the transportation price if the client postpones the shipment within 3 days or less prior to the agreed departure date. Ownership of the product transfers to the customer (owner) at the time the goods are picked up by the carrier in Portugal. All products are carefully packed and inspected prior to shipment. We are not responsible for loss or damage resulting from handling, loading or unloading by people acting on behalf of the receiver. The refusal of damage merchandise in no way relieves the purchaser of responsibility for payment of goods. Should visible or concealed damage occur in transit, immediately notify the delivering carrier with the initial notification of intent to file a claim. Any damage should be communicated to MURANTI within the first 48 hours after receiving the order. If claims are not made within 48 hours the insurance claim will be null and void. To this end, be sure and inspect your pieces promptly, as no exceptions are made. When damage or quality discrepancy is found, photos should be taken of the product fault. Photos of the packaging may be as important as the item itself in resolving a possible freight claim. All products claims should be reported directly to MURANTI via e-mail to info@muranti.com supported by proper documentation (photos of the damaged packaging, photos of the
damaged product(s), and detailed description of the incurred damage).
   This will ensure a more timely resolution. Providing that any damage in the piece(s) requires replacement, MURANTI commits to exchange the damage part/piece integrally within a period agreed with the client. It is mandatory to receive the damage part/piece(s) before replacing it by a new one.
   Money will not be refunded in any case. We shall not be liable for delay in shipment for any cause, nor shall any delay entitle you to cancel any order after it has been shipped or refuse delivery.

RETURN AUTHORIZATION

   No returns will be accepted without written consent from MURANTI. Unauthorized returns will be refused at the customer’s expense.

ORDER CANCELLATION

  Merchandise is manufactured upon confirmation of the deposit. Cancellations will not be accepted after 5 working days from the order issued date. At 30% restocking fee will be applied to any cancellations received after the order issue date. Changes in orders or cancellations require prior written approval from MURANTI. Such orders may be subject to change, cancellation or stocking fees up to 50% of the net selling price.

CUSTOMIZED ORDERS

   MURANTI is able to customize existing products or new products to meet customer specifications. These orders will require special pricing based on quantity or features.

INTERNET POLICY

  Dealer Internet websites may neither advertise nor in any way display the MURANTI name, logo, product images or any other property company elements or information without prior written consent from the company. Dealer websites may not display pricing on pieces, promotional offers, discounts or value statements (e.g. lowest price in town). Please contact MURANTI for further company guidelines on Internet usage. It is required to state MURANTI name when advertising products on the internet.

DISTRIBUTION POLICY

   We reserve the right not to sell to, or continue to sell to, any dealer whose distribution or sales tactics result in a negative effect on our ability to compete and sell into a country/region.

PRODUCTS STANDARDS

  All MURANTI descriptive matter, weights, dimensions and illustrations contained in website, catalogues or advertisements are close approximations only and intended to give a general description of the goods. All furniture is handmade and, therefore, subject to slight variations. Many wood and metal finishes are applied by hand and may vary color, tone and character. While every effort is made to match a finish, no guarantee can be made of an exact match. Variations in color and veining are inherent in stone and wood and considered to be part of natural beauty.
   MURANTI is free of committing a design improvement without notification. We work every day to enhance the quality of our products both aesthetically as well as in usability and reliability.

COPY RIGHTS

   All rights reserved. No part of MURANTI design pieces may be reproduced, distributed, or transmitted in any form and by any means, including prototyping, 3D drawings, or other electronic or mechanical methods without the prior written consent of the brand, except noncommercial uses permitted by copyright law. For permission requests contact MURANTI.
   Any question that may arise from the interpretation, application or obedience to these Terms & Conditions must be viewed and resolved in accordance with the laws of Portugal.
   In the event that any one or more of these terms and conditions is held invalid, illegal or unenforceable, such provision(s) shall be severed and the remaining terms and conditions shall remain binding and effective.

TERMS OF USE

  A towel or a waterproof cloth must be used on veneer tops to avoid responsability for possible damages. The use of inexpensive hot pads or a trivet fot hot dishes, pots is always recommended. Wipe the surface with a soft cloth slightly moistened with water. No agressive and abrasive cleaners or cleaning solvents should be used on the surface of the tops. MURANTI declines any responsability for the damages that may result in the event of non compliance of these recommendations. The wood finishings can be altered without prior notice, for technical reasons or due to production quality modifications. The colors and tones are merely indicative. The company reserves the right to eventual changes without any notice.

WARRANTY

   The company guarantees its products to be free from defect in materials, components and workmanship under normal usage for two years from invoice date. The company warranty does not include any damages caused by transport, abuse, misuse, vandalism, unauthorized repairs or modifications, inadequate maintenance, negligence, accidents and corrosive cleaning produts. The company owns the exclusive rights of intellectual property over the developed models designed and developed by Leading Professionals carefully chosen to represent the authenticity of brand.
